" WALTER" OUR BARLBOROUGH BULL DOG

With funding from the Heritage Lottery we have been able to produce a BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE for all the men that gave their lives. This book is being displayed at the Heritage Centre - below is an actual page telling us a story of a young Barlborough man who gave the ultimate sacrifice for his country.

Displays that were on show during the WWI CENTENARY WEEKEND in August:

We have  produced a book for sale that tells the stories of many servicemen during this conflict, including extracts from personal diaries , messages from POW Camps, letters to loved ones , contemporary newspaper articles and many photographs and  images . This book is divided into three sections , Stories , Servicemen Who Came Home and Men Who Gave Their Lives .
