Streets of London

Many landed gentry owned property in London and named streets etc. after their families. This was so with the families of Barlborough Hall.

The Booth Poverty Map of 1898 / 99 shows:

Barlborough Street
Reaston Street
Hatfield Close
Heathcote Road

All situated in the Lewisham District.

This is a modern ordnance survey map showing the streets.

Heathcote Road is now replaced by Avonley Road.

Hatfield Close is not named on this map.

There is also a street named 'Barlborough Way' in Virginia Beach - Virginia
